Veteran musician Charlie boy oputa protested against the federal government Of Nigeria for the return or resignation of President Muhamed buhari. He was attacked by some Nigeria youths and narrowly escaped being lynched by the group. After the violent attack, some youth staged an Pro -Buhari protest in Wuse Market, Abuja Nigeria. Pro-Buhari group claimed to be “Niger Delta Youths” as they stormed Abuja to show their support for President Muhammadu Buhari despite his health and over three months absence from the office.
The group arrived the nation’s capital in the early hours of Wednesday and converged at the Unity Fountain and later marched to Aso Rock gate where the group assembled and continued singing solidarity songs in support of the President Muhammad buhari with various signs and inscription.
The Pro-buhari protest group affirmed that the Constitution does not punish anyone for being sick noting that there is no requirement that a President should either be removed from office or voluntarily resign from office just because he is ill. My anger is not with the sick President Muhamed buhari or why our leaders are silenced on the issues on ground. I am mostly dissapointed with the Nigeria youths and their behaviors toward serious religious, political and ethics issues. In March, 2017 legendary singer and advocate for peace in the Nigeria. 2face Innocent idibia plan a peaceful protest against the federal government of Nigeria in demand for justice and accountability but he wouldn’t go through with it due to undisclosed occurrences. He was verbally abused in every social media platforms by Nigeria youth. Huge numbers of youth were against him while few were supported his action
The problems with Nigeria youths is that they live like tenants in their own country according to former Governor of Cross River State Mr Donald Duke. How can we sell our Rights and sanity for peanut. Why do Nigeria youths made themselves channel for crime, corruption and tools for the leaders to ride on simply because of penury they promised them in view. we have to rise and do our bite, folding arms and looking wont help the situation. Nigeria youths arise and lets build the nation. lets leave frivolous activities aside. This country is ours, running out wont help and be negligent too. Please lets participate in the politics and hold our leaders accountable. We need to have a country our children will be proud of.
