Majority of us do not give adequate attention to our dream. In most African homes, if you have nightmares our parents will automatically diagnosed it to be symptoms and signs of malaria or thyroid. It is always funny and silly. It may be true though, after all nothing is certain in this life and dreams interpretation is tricky sometimes.
Why we Dream?
I believed some of the reasons we dream of all sort of silly and unrealistic dreams, then categorised it bad or good, is because of what our minds are always pondering on most time. Everything start and end with our mindsets. Our desires to do something and achieve a goal can be so powerful and consuming that, it maybe results in nightmares. For stance, you want to eat a particular meal and you were not able to fulfill that desires. It may result in you having a dream about it and eating in that dream. In African homes, it is a bad thing to eat in the dream. It signifies evil and disasters to some African homes.
To interpret some our dreams, we need to reflect on what is happening in our immediate physical environment first. Then we can proceed to examine what is happening in our minds, soul and body. And answer the questions below about dreams interpretation
- What are the state and conditions of our mind and soul? Are there in a good or bad place?
- What are your outmost desire? Have they been fulfilled?
Dreams also give us a foresight or warn you about what is coming. It shows us what the future maybe, or what it has for us. And how we can avoid those things and mistakes.
- What energy are you surrounded with?
- Where do you drive your energy from?
What are your innermost thoughts and desires toward yourself and others?
These few questions are the reality of our dream interpretation. When you See yourself getting chased, being abused, beaten, depressed, sad, neglected and annoyed in your dreams it has a lot to do with your thoughts.Things do not just happen to us if our mind do not conceive, think and believe it. When you start seeing bad dreams and nightmares. Take a step back and reflect on your thoughts. Rearranged it into a positive position. If you desire something in your physical life try and actualize it. Do not burden your minds with good much cares of the world. When your dreams are not in accordance to your reality. Find ways to put your reality on check. Begin to question and readjust some steps.
